As a Mum of two young children, I can appreciate the worries you may have about your child. Our children are precious, and we want them to have the best possible start and grow into strong, healthy and happy individuals.

After the birth of your baby you need lots of support – here are some natural remedies you can use at home. All of the remedies mentioned here are safe postnatally and while breastfeeding; however, if you have any medical conditions or concerns it is important to consult a qualified herbal practitioner before taking anything.

Breastfeeding is the best thing we can do for our babies – it gives them tailor-made food, full of the exact amounts of proteins for growth, essential fats for brain and nervous system development, immune factors to protect from infection – breastfed babies have fewer chest and ear infections, less diarrhoea and vomiting, a reduced chance of developing eczema and less chance of becoming obese or developing type II diabetes in later life.

What this means in reality is that the sperm and ova are not strong enough or healthy enough to have the energy to create a baby.

Growing a baby takes a lot of energy for the body, and to grow as healthy a baby as possible takes the right nutrition.
