Top Tips for Sound Sleep

Thursday, 12 January 2012
Published in Sara's Blog 2012

1. Cut caffeine. Completely. Anyone who suffers from insomnia shouldn't be having any at all. It will keep you awake, not to mention making you more anxious. Decaf coffee still contains theobromine, a stimulating chemical, so it is still detrimental to good sleep.

Thursday 20th October, 9.30am-12pm. £35 including a delicious coffee and cake break.

Join us for a morning's workshop at the wonderful Cannon's Ashby National Trust property and learn about the autumnal bounty in our native hedgerows. You'll look at the hedgerows through new eyes.

We'll take in a herb walk in the gardens of the property, looking at cultivated as well as wild native herbs that are abundant at this time of year.

We'll harvest some herbs to make a herbal tincture for you to take home and keep you healthy through the winter.
